Ross Buckley is a highly experienced hospitality executive with 29 years of work across a vast array of disciplines. He has worked in Resort Hotel/Golf/Conference Centers, Airport, roadside, franchised, independent locations, catering and event management companies, etc. This includes companies such as Doral Hotels and Abigail Kirsch Culinary Productions.
He has also worked for InterContinental Hotels Group at a corporate level for the last 14 years in the Franchise Operations division working on the Hotel Performance Support team and most recently as the senior person in the Americas for Quality & Brand Standards.
Within Hotel Performance Support he oversaw the Southeast & Caribbean region that was comprised of approximately 600 hotels with full accountability for all performance indices. As Director of Quality & Brand Standards, he had all 7 IHG brands and North America within his realm of responsibility. These 3200 properties included US, Canadian and Caribbean hotels and resorts in limited service, select service, full service, extended stay, resort, midscale, boutique, and upscale segments.
During the course of these 14 years, he has been exposed to literally hundreds of hotels and the challenges they faced across all disciplines as well as the corrective actions utilized to enhance performance. He has been involved/led projects relating to IT, Revenue, Sales, Service, Training, Quality, F&B, Standards, New Hotel Openings, brand repositioning, disaster planning, etc. that have gone global across 4000+ hotels.
Mr. Buckley is a seasoned professional who has spent many years working hard for owners and management teams to fully extrapolate every nuance of energy that can be had from a hotels specific team, market, brand, and situation. He possesses critical knowledge in all areas of hotel operations to assist in driving positive change with a wealth of experience to draw from with the ultimate goal being to drive balance between revenue, customer satisfaction and ROI.
